The Chicago Bears are looking to offload their linebacker, Tremaine Edmunds, after allowing him to seek a trade.
Edmunds has put up good numbers, having made over 100 tackles in each of his eight NFL seasons with the Bears and the Buffalo Bills, but after making two Pro Bowls with Buffalo, he hasn't been back to that level of play since. Chicago is looking to try to knock off $15 million towards the cap if they trade Edmunds before June 1, so there is a lot of incentive to move him off the roster.
So far, three teams are reportedly interested in trading for Edmunds: the Tennessee Titans, the Las Vegas Raiders, and the New York Giants. Which ones would be the best option for the Bears to work with in a trade?
3. New York Giants
The Giants are going through a rebuild with new head coach John Harbaugh trying to bring in the culture he had with the Baltimore Ravens over the last 18 years. New York is going to be in the market for some big trades to make the roster competitive with the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.
Here's the problem with the Giants: they don't have a third-round pick, which makes their fourth-round pick more valuable to them. The Bears could still offer Edmunds for it, but New York might be more inclined to offer one of their three sixth-round picks. Chicago is better off staying away from the Giants if they want a decent draft pick or picks for Edmunds.
2. Tennesse Titans
New Titans head coach Robert Saleh has already set the tone for making trades for defensive players, as he acquired New York Jets defensive end Jermaine Johnson. It appears as though Saleh is looking to load up his defense with talent, and the Bears have a linebacker who can help with that.
Since the Titans have two fifth-round picks and a seventh-round pick, there might be some wiggle room to try to either get a fourth and seventh-round pick or a fifth and seventh-round pick for Edmunds in a trade. Bears fans would love to have a late Day 2 or fourth-round pick for the veteran linebacker, but this move is more about saving money, so they need to take whatever they can get.
1. Las Vegas Raiders
There's one massive reason the Raiders are at the top of the list: Maxx Crosby. Chicago desperately needs to add another pass rusher after just 35 sacks in 2025, and the Raiders have someone in Crosby that everyone in the NFL wants.

The Bears can easily make an offer for a couple of first-round picks and Edmunds to bring Crosby to Chicago. It would be a great move for both sides and a win-win, but the Raiders and Crosby keep shutting down the trade talks, so it may not happen. Las Vegas' draft picks are still valuable to the Bears in getting Edmunds.
