The Chicago Bears did not get off to a great start to the season, which raised questions about this team's expectations for 2025, but they quickly changed that narrative.

Chicago lost their first two games of the season against the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions. It was that 52-21 loss to the Lions in Week 2 that had everyone questioning how the Bears would do this season.

The Bears would go on to win 11 of their next 14 games, clinching the NFC North and earning the number-two seed entering the final week of the season. That surprised many, including FOX commentator Rob Gronkowski, who wanted to write them off at the beginning of the season, but has been impressed with how they have closed out the season.

"Yeah I remember early on they got silenced by Dan Campbell and the Detroit Lions. I thought it was going to be a rough road for Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears from then on out, but they've really, really turned it around."

Bears certainly have turned things around in 2025

Chicago has been a special team to watch in 2025, entering Week 18 with an 11-5 record and winning the division for the first time since 2018. The Bears have done it by creating the most turnovers in the NFL with 32, and quarterback Caleb Williams is leading an NFL-high six game-winning drives.

While there were questions about the Bears beating teams that have losing records, they showed at the end of the season that they can compete with anyone. They have beaten teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Green Bay Packers. Chicago nearly took down the San Francisco 49ers in Week 17, but fell short by four points.

The playoffs are around the corner, and the Bears can stun the NFL more by making a run for the Super Bowl.
