Everyone knows by now how elite the Chicago Bears' offense is after a stellar 2025 season.

Last year, they were ranked sixth in the NFL in total offense with 369.2 yards per game while also finishing third in rushing with 144.5 yards per game and ninth in scoring with 25.9 points per game. Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze spoke with Caleb Downs and Josh Downs on their "Downs 2 Business" podcast, where he got a bit bold with his assessment of the offense.

“Caleb with his playmaking ability, we have Luther, C-Love, we got several different positions. We got Kyle Monangai. I think we’re number one right now.”

Rome Odunze thinks Bears have the best offense in the NFL

It's hard to argue Odunze's point. Colston Loveland broke out as a rookie in the NFL and led the team in receiving yards as he got over 700 yards and six touchdowns. Luther Burden also had a strong rookie campaign with over 600 yards and two scores.

Even just examining Odunze's play in 2025, he was pacing to have well over 1,000 yards on the year if it hadn't been for his injury late in the season. He still had over 600 yards and six touchdowns on the season.

Between D'Andre Swift and Monangai in the backfield, the two combined for 1,870 yards and 14 touchdowns. The pair should have another monster season as Monangai now has a season under his belt.

Caleb Williams is as clutch as they come with his NFL record seven comebacks and game-winning drives last year to earn the nickname "Iceman." Williams also broke a franchise record with 3,942 yards and added 30 total touchdowns to seven interceptions, and he was also poised to break the NFL record for interception percentage at 1.1%.

Odunze didn't even mention the elite offensive line in front of them, led by the Protector of the Year Joe Thuney. Add in Jonah Jackson and second-team All-Pro Darnell Wright, and the Bears are scary on the offensive line.

Credit has to be given to Bears general manager Ryan Poles for putting the roster together and head coach Ben Johnson for getting the guys to exceed expectations in Year 1. The scariest part about this Bears offense is that they are only going to get better in 2026.
