The Chicago Bears are officially getting ready to head into the 2025 season as the offseason is essentially over for players.
So, who are some of the biggest winners on the roster now that the offseason is over?
Caleb Williams
Nobody won more than Williams on the Chicago Bears, and few won more across the entire NFL. Williams went from his offensive coordinator being fired during the season and shifting offensive linemen to what looks like a stable situation on paper.
First, he got the best offensive coordinator that was available to be hired this offseason as his head coach. Ben Johnson has already made notable impacts on Williams, starting with his demeanor.
They added three big names along the interior, and if Ozzy Trapilo starts as a rookie, they will have added four new names on the line. Then, a top ten pick was spent on Colston Loveland and a second round pick went to Luther Burden. Williams should succeed.
Ozzy Trapilo
It is unfortunate that Braxton Jones has been unable to play due to his injury, but the valuable work that Trapilo has been able to see at left tackle this offseason is impossible to measure. Considering he spent his college career at right tackle, he needs every rep he can get this offseason, and he will now enter training camp with an idea of what he needs to do to win a starting job.

D’Andre Swift
The Bears tried to add a running back, but they did not. We know that Ben Johnson was on a team that traded Swift, but we also know that Ben Johnson can produce big stats for his running backs.
As it stands, it is hard to name the runner that will outproduce Swift on the Bears this season. In an offense that is likely to succeed, that is a valuable role that could lead to significant statistics. Did Swift go from a fantasy sell to a fantasy buy that quickly?
