2. Damien Lewis

Damien Lewis was drafted 69th overall. Would that have been a reach if they took Lewis over Cole Kmet? Is it a reach that they took Kmet?

One thing that is not a question is that Lewis has helped the Seattle Seahawks more than Cole Kmet has helped the Chicago Bears. This is not the best way to look at the draft, but the Bears made a heap of all-in moves on the 2020 roster. However, they skipped out on the offensive line for a developmental tight end.

Lewis has started at right guard since day one. Miami and Seattle both found starting guards in the draft. Lewis was another player we had hyped up and pre-draft and mocked to Chicago. He was a road grading run blocker who helped LSU win a national title. He was on the big stage and we all saw him. The Chicago Bears just did not want to add to their offensive line.
