8. Davontae Harris

Davontae Harris was a player who was signed early into training camp, mainly correlated to the injury news of Thomas Graham. Graham has not practiced yet, and his absence is expected to extend into the season.

Still, while the team needed the extra training camp snaps at cornerback, they are unlikely to keep Davontae Harris when the roster cuts down to 53.

Harris has been fine in the preseason, and he could make it based on special teams’ play, but there was a reason that he was around so late, and he has not done anything to put himself into the mix.

Kyler Gordon, Jaylon Johnson, and Tavon Young are locked while Kindle Vildor has pushed himself Into the number four role. The team could role with Harris as a fifth, but it appears that Lamar Jackson has been ahead of him.

The team could look to get him onto the practice squad, but Jaylon Jones is a rookie UDFA who suits that style of a player much more. Harris was signed for training camp snaps and provided that. He may not make it much longer.
