A few days after the Chicago Bears' dismantling of the Buffalo Bills, fans still can't stop talking about the preseason action. Sure, it was only preseason. But, that was the best fans have seen in quite some time.

Recently, NFL personality Kay Adams sat down to talk with head coach Ben Johnson and they chatted about that game in particular. Adams asked Johnson what the most impressive thing was from that preseason win over the Bills, to which the head coach simply replied:

"Beyond Caleb?"

It was obvious that the most impressive part of that game was, by far, Williams' play. Johnson didn't even flinch. That first drive was everything Bears fans had hoped for, seeing Williams go 5-for-6 with 97 yards and a touchdown. Those stats almost seem to be made-up.

The head coach would also go on to note one key aspect of the game which the media seemed largely worried about, and that would be pre-snap woes.

"We had some pre-snap issues over the course of camp and that first unit didn't have any of those."

That was certainly one thing that stood out, as well, against Buffalo. The Bears had plenty of pre-snap woes throughout camp and they were well-documented. We all heard about Johnson throwing the entire first team offense off the field at times, when he didn't like what he saw.

That was obviously just training camp, which many fans were quick to reiterate. If the Bears were going to experience those types of mistakes, it had better be in camp before a live game.

"He did a great job with the operation ... made a couple of big time throws," Johnson also noted, referring to a pair of throws by Williams to each of his tight ends.

Speaking of those tight ends, that initial drive told us a lot about the Bears' offense and just how much firepower it will have. Colston Loveland and Cole Kmet were huge parts of that drive, with the rookie nabbing a pair of receptions and Kmet having that big play down the middle.

We didn't even see the likes of DJ Moore or Rome Odunze making plays out there just yet. It certainly felt like Chicago has an abundance of weapons, all throughout the summer months, but it's another thing to see it unfold on the field.
