The final pre-draft visits are wrapping up around the NFL, with a week to go before the 2026 NFL Draft begins, and the Chicago Bears don't have to wait to see who they end up selecting.
Chicago has a lot of positions they will need to address in the draft, but many are wondering what will happen at wide receiver and when they expect to see one selected. After the loss of DJ Moore in a trade and Olamide Zaccheaus in free agency, the Bears need to find a new WR3 for Rome Odunze and Luther Burden.
The Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs reported that the Bears had a visit with Ole Miss wide receiver De'Zhaun Stribling, which was the final of his eight 30-visits. Last season with the Rebels, Stribling caught 55 passes for 811 yards and six touchdowns.
Bears officially met with De'Zhaun Stribling on a pre-draft visit
Stribling has blazing speed that the Bears would love to have on their offense, as he ran a 4.36-second 40-yard dash. Standing at 6-foot-2, if Chicago wanted to select him, having that kind of size and speed is a rare combination to have.
Bears head coach Ben Johnson is not shy about adding offensive weapons to this team; last year, the team brought in Colston Loveland in the first round, Burden in the second round, and running back Kyle Monangai in the seventh round. Chicago wants to add as much young talent to the offense as possible to build around quarterback Caleb Williams.
Outside of Odunze and Burden, the Bears also have Kalif Raymond and Jahdae Walker at wide receiver who could fill in as WR3. While Raymond and Walker are both solid choices, Chicago wouldn't mind adding one more talent in the wide receiver room.

Don't be surprised if Stribling gets some serious looks from the Bears in the draft.
