Jaquan Brisker’s comment after loss to Packers poured fuel on fire

Not sure if he should say that....

Sometimes, it's okay to maybe not be as honest about stuff after losing a football game.

The Chicago Bears are still working through their 28-21 loss to the Green Bay Packers. While it was more of a heavyweight fight, the Packers had the upper hand for most of the game and made the biggest play of the game with the interception from Caleb Williams with under 30 seconds left.

After the game, Bears safety Jaquan Brisker was speaking to reporters when he made an interesting observation that most fans didn't notice.

“I feel like the fans were a lot more quiet than usual…players a lot more quiet.”

Brisker getting honest about the noise of the game

It's hard to make sense of what Brisker said because it sounded loud to Bears fans when big plays were being allowed by the secondary. On all three of Jordan Love's touchdown passes, they were at least 23-yard scores with somebody burning the Bears' secondary.

Green Bay racked up 337 yards of offense and four touchdowns, with multiple big plays allowed in the game by Chicago. The Packers converted eight of 12 third downs in the win.

Brisker himself did not have a memorable game, making only two tackles in the loss. It was one of the quieter performances of the season for him.

Chicago sits at 9-4 and is in second place in the NFC North. They are still in the playoff hunt, but only at the seventh seed in the NFC.

The whole season is still out ahead for the Bears, and they have four weeks to get back on track and get themselves into the playoffs. They have more to worry about than how quiet Lambeau Field is.
