In the most crucial game of the season for the Chicago Bears, they would like to know whether they are going to face future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers or not.

Rodgers was knocked out of the Pittsburgh Steelers' last game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a wrist injury. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin gave an update, saying Rodgers was limited in their final practice, but there was no status update on whether he will play against the Bears.

"We’ll see where the weekend leads us."

Bears fans want to have the final shot at Rodgers before he retires

It's the revenge game Chicago has been waiting for all season, outside of the NFC North, of course. For years, Rodgers made life miserable for Bears fans, going 24-5 in the regular season and beating them once in the NFC Championship game.

Rodgers has said this week that he wants to play in the game because he loves playing in Chicago. The Bears players, including safety Kevin Byard III, are preparing this week as if Rodgers will be stepping on the field against them.

Chicago needs to win this game since the Bears are sitting at a 7-3 record on the season and in first place of the NFC North, a half game ahead of Rodgers' old team, the Green Bay Packers. The Windy City wants to do it the right way, though, with beating a winning team at full strength, something they have not done all season.

Pittsburgh is in win-now mode as well, sitting at 6-4, but is one game behind the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North after winning four straight. Rodgers' playing gives the Steelers a much better chance of winning the game.

The Bears know the importance of this game, but would rather have Rodgers in there just so that they can get one final win on him before he hangs up his cleats.
